Coordinates annual awards banquet program.
Coordinates quarterly meetings to keep member offices informed of important industry issues, forms updates, etc.
Reviews and suggests amendments to keep the bylaws consistent with NAR and CCR activities and policies
Promotes REALTOR® image to public through community investment and involvement, volunteering, and/or service projects benefiting the Carroll County Community
Coordinate CCR’s continuing education offerings. Serve as monitors for classes, enforce requirements as mandated by the MD Real Estate Commission. Distribute C.E. Certificates to attendees upon satisfactory completion of seminar, Oversee and instruct entry program for Carroll County REALTORS® applicants, Facilitate Codes of Ethics Training, Educate and disseminate information regarding professional growth, business planning & networking, with involvement in CCR, Maryland REALTORS®, NAR & the community.
Develop and recommend policies promoting equal opportunity in housing and real estate.Develop and implement programs promoting equal opportunity awareness among members. Sponsors annual fair housing poster contest, essay/scholarship and cosponsors an annual fair housing conference.
Prepares the annual budget for recommendation to the Board of Directors. Is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Carroll County REALTORS®’ Investment Policy.
Evaluates proposed county and municipal level legislation and regulations that would affect the real estate industry in Carroll County. Develops responses thereto, which may include the writing of position papers and/or testifying at public hearings on issues of concern to Carroll County REALTORS®; such responses may require the approval of the Carroll County REALTORS®’Board of Directors. Also builds relationships with and enhances Carroll County REALTORS®’image among local authorities, regulatory heads and key policymakers. Follow bills and promote interest of the real estate industry in legislative matters, Encourage members to become politically involved with legislators.
Encourages & Enhances membership in Carroll County REALTORS®. Coordinates office tours to discuss member benefits and promote upcoming events.
Encourage contributions to REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Plan, prepare and promote RPAC fundraising activities.
Responsible for assessing the ongoing technology needs and makes recommendations for improvements to CCR’s technology infrastructure.
Helps real estate professionals excel in their careers by providing encouragement and access to the latest industry news and tools through social networking and mentoring opportunities.
